Break The Unconscious Patterns Keeping You Stuck And Finally Unlock The Focus, Motivation, And Follow-Through You've Been Trying To Force For Years.
There’s a Reason You Keep Getting in Your Own Way
Dear ambitious dreamer,
- Do you know exactly what you need to do but keep procrastinating when it's time to actually do it?
- Do you have big goals, but keep losing motivation, overthinking, playing it small, or getting distracted?
- Are you tired of trying to force yourself to be more disciplined, only to fall back into the same patterns?
You know you're capable of more. You have things you genuinely want to create, accomplish, or experience. But despite knowing what you need to do, something inside you seems to put on the brakes when it's time to move forward.
So you try another productivity system, routine, planner, accountability strategy, or motivational technique. And maybe it works for a little while but eventually, the same pattern comes back.
That's because most productivity solutions are designed to help you manage your behavior. They don't necessarily help you understand why the behavior keeps happening in the first place.
For 8 Years, I've Helped 600+ People Uncover and Resolve the Patterns That Were Holding Them Back
I've spent the past 8 years helping my clients overcome the patterns that hold them back from achieving their goals. Through this work, I've helped 600+ people uncover and resolve the underlying root causes behind procrastination, resistance, and other forms of self-sabotage.
And what I've found is that these patterns are never random. There's always a reason why you're doing what you're doing, even when the behavior is getting in the way of what you consciously want.
Instead of treating procrastination, avoidance, perfectionism, or inconsistency as the root problem, we use those behaviors as clues to uncover the unconscious beliefs, fears, needs, and internal conflicts underneath them.
Even frustrating patterns are trying to benefit you in some way. By understanding what the pattern is trying to accomplish, we can work with its underlying function instead of simply trying to overpower it with more discipline.
Once we identify what's driving the pattern, we'll work together through Shadow Work and personalized action steps to address its root cause, so moving toward your goals can become more consistent, natural, and internally aligned.
- Make consistent progress toward the goals that matter to you.
- Build greater self-trust, motivation, and internal alignment.
- Work with yourself instead of constantly fighting, forcing, or overriding yourself.
The goal isn't to turn you into someone who is endlessly disciplined and productive through brute force of will.
It's to help you finally stop fighting yourself.
You still have to do the work, of course. But when the parts of you that have been slamming on the brakes are finally understood and the underlying patterns are resolved, you don't have to wage an internal war with yourself every time you move toward something you want.
To your success,
Emerald

Hear From Ambitious People Who Stopped Fighting Themselves and Started Making Progress
Real feedback from people I've worked with.
Let's talk about your goals, what's getting in the way, and whether we're a good fit to work together.
Here’s How It Works
Identify the Pattern That’s Holding You Back
First, we’ll get clear on how your self-sabotage patterns are showing up in your life. Whether you’re procrastinating, playing it small, repeatedly abandoning your goals, or you’re caught in a pattern that’s harder to name, we’ll identify what’s holding you back.
Discover the Root Cause of the Pattern
Once we identify your self-sabotage patterns, we’ll dig beneath the surface to discover what’s truly driving them. Through probing questions, conscious reframing, and carefully chosen hypotheticals, we’ll uncover the unconscious beliefs, fears, needs, or internal conflicts at the root of your patterns.
Resolve the Root Cause and Move Forward
Once we’ve identified the deeper root causes of your self-sabotage patterns, we’ll work together in our sessions and you’ll receive personalized action steps to help you resolve them, so you can get out of your own way and finally achieve your goals.
If you already know what to do but aren’t doing it, more discipline may not address what’s actually getting in your way.
Productivity strategies can help with behavior, but they can’t necessarily resolve the unconscious patterns creating resistance in the first place.
Instead, we start by asking why you’re resisting something you consciously want and what that resistance might indicate.
Procrastination, avoidance, perfectionism, and other self-sabotage patterns are treated as clues that point toward a deeper pattern, rather than as the root of the problem itself.
Even patterns that appear destructive on the surface were originally adopted to serve an important function in your life. And understanding that function is the key to resolving your patterns of self-sabotage.
Your self-sabotage is investigated individually rather than forced into a one-size-fits-all explanation.
By understanding how your self-sabotage pattern is trying to protect or serve you, we work WITH its underlying function instead of simply trying to overpower it with brute force of will.
The work happens both inside our sessions and through personalized action steps that are designed to help you work directly with what we uncover.
The goal isn’t to make you temporarily feel more motivated. Instead, we resolve the deeper internal conflict that’s creating resistance and causing your lack of motivation.
Instead of teaching you to constantly override yourself, we work toward resolving the patterns that make you feel like you have to.
10 Reasons Why Ambitious People Are Choosing a Different Approach to Self-Sabotage
Don’t Lose Another Year Fighting Yourself
Another year of procrastinating is another year your goals remain unrealized.
Another year of playing it safe is another year of opportunities you miss out on.
Another year of holding yourself back is another year of potential that never gets fulfilled.
It’s the sum total of ALL the missed opportunities that would have been within your reach had you not been standing in your own way.
- The business you could have built.
- The income you could have earned.
- The creative work you could have brought into the world.
- The experiences you could have had.
- The people you could have helped.
- The person you could have become.
And these costs compound over time.
A goal you postpone for a month becomes a goal postponed for a year. And a year can become five years.
And eventually, you may look back and realize that you spent a significant portion of your life waiting to become the person you always knew you could be.
- How much longer are you willing to postpone the life you know you want?
- How many more dreams are you willing to leave unrealized?
- How many more opportunities are you willing to lose?
- How much more of your potential are you willing to squander?
Don’t wait until “someday” becomes “I wish I had done that.”
If you know that you're capable of more, there's no reason to keep putting off finding out what's REALLY getting in your way.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What’s the investment, and what can I expect to get from it?
This is a 90-day, high-touch program that includes 13 private 1:1 sessions, 60+ videos, 60+ exercises, weekly notes, and personalized action steps. The investment is $5,400 USD. The goal is to identify and resolve the patterns keeping you from consistently moving toward the goals that matter to you.
2. How quickly will I see results?
My clients typically begin seeing meaningful results within the first month, with deeper shifts continuing throughout the 90-day program and beyond. You may begin gaining meaningful insights from your very first session as we identify your patterns and investigate their root causes. Throughout the program, you’ll progressively work through those patterns and put what you discover into action. The personalized notes, action steps, and curriculum are also designed to give you the tools and understanding to continue making progress independently, even after the program ends.
3. How do I know if this is right for me?
This program is designed for ambitious people who know what they want but repeatedly find themselves procrastinating, playing it small, abandoning goals, or resisting actions they genuinely want to take… and who are ready to look beneath the surface for a solution.
4. How is this different from productivity coaching or traditional approaches to self-discipline?
Instead of primarily teaching you how to overcome your resistance through brute force of will or surface-level productivity strategies, this approach investigates the real reasons why you’re resisting something you consciously want. Shadow Work helps uncover the unconscious beliefs, needs, fears, and conflicts underneath the patterns that hold you back.
5. I’ve tried productivity systems, motivation, and discipline before. Why would this be different?
Those approaches can be useful, but they often focus on changing surface-level behavior without investigating or resolving the root causes behind it. Here, we start with the symptoms you’re experiencing and use them as clues to uncover the underlying patterns producing them.
6. What if my problem is actually a lack of discipline?
Discipline issues tend to come from three primary sources: deeper underlying patterns, working against the grain of your natural motivational style, or an environment that isn’t set up to make consistency possible. My program addresses all three potential sources of what looks like a discipline problem.
7. Why can’t I just do Shadow Work on my own?
You absolutely can do meaningful Shadow Work independently. The value of working together is having an experienced outside perspective to help you notice patterns, ask questions you may not think to ask, and stay focused on what matters.
8. What if it doesn’t work for me?
Because self-sabotage patterns are unique to the individual, no ethical practitioner can guarantee a specific outcome. What I can guarantee is a personalized process, dedicated support, and a serious effort to understand and work with the patterns you bring to the program. What I will say is that, in my experience, when someone meaningfully engages with the work and puts in the effort to change, the results are typically deeply transformative.
9. Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching focused on self-sabotage and personal development, not mental-health treatment or psychotherapy. The work centers on understanding behavioral patterns and helping you move toward goals you consciously want to achieve.
10. What happens on the discovery call?
The discovery call is a chance for us to talk about what you’re struggling with, what you want to accomplish, and whether we both genuinely believe this program can help you. I’ll answer your questions, explain how the program works, and if it feels like a good fit, we can discuss next steps. There’s no obligation to enroll.
Who We Serve…
Entrepreneurs Who Know They're Capable of More
You have a business you want to grow, an idea you want to turn into a business, or a vision you're determined to bring to life. But you keep encountering the same frustrating patterns: procrastinating on important work, avoiding uncomfortable growth, getting distracted by less important tasks, or hesitating when it's time to take a bigger step.
You don't need someone to simply tell you to work harder. You need to understand what's getting in your way and resolve the patterns that keep holding you back.
Ambitious Creatives Who Are Ready to Finish and Share Their Work With the World
You don't want your creativity to remain an idea in your head. You want to make things, finish things, publish things, perform, exhibit, write, build, or grow an audience that appreciates your work.
But perfectionism, procrastination, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and other forms of resistance can make consistent creative output much harder than it needs to be.
This work helps you uncover the deeper patterns interfering with your ability to consistently create, finish, and share the work you're capable of making.
Growth-Oriented People Who Want to Build a Bigger Life
Your goal isn't necessarily a business or a creative project. Maybe you want financial freedom, a healthier lifestyle, a different career, more adventure, greater independence, better relationships, or simply a life that feels more like the one you've imagined.
You know what you want, but you keep finding yourself hesitating, procrastinating, playing it safe, or falling back into familiar patterns.
This work helps you understand what's keeping you from consistently moving toward the life you actually want and get out of your own way so you can build it.
You’re One Step Away From Learning Exactly How to Unlock Consistent and Frictionless Productivity With Shadow Work
You’ve already tried “becoming more disciplined” and telling yourself you just need to “power through.”
But if that were the answer, it would have worked by now.
What looks like laziness and self-sabotage on the surface is actually a symptom of a deeper root cause.
So, it’s not that you haven’t tried hard enough. And it’s not that you have a broken work ethic.
It’s an unconscious pattern that keeps pulling the brakes when you try to move forward.
Shadow Work enables you to become conscious of and resolve those patterns at the root instead of using every ounce of willpower you have to try to fight against them.
And when you actually resolve the root causes that prevent you from being productive, working toward your goals stops being a battle with yourself and starts feeling like a natural frictionless flow state.

Some days you wake up… motivated, focused, and ready to put in the work to make your long-term goals come to fruition.
You get things done, you actually follow through, and it feels like, “Okay, I might actually get there!”
Other days, it’s like someone quietly unplugged you overnight.
You scroll a bit longer.
You avoid the one task that actually matters.
You bounce between tabs, ideas, and “I’ll start in 10 minutes” until the day is basically gone.
Logically, you know what needs to happen.
You know the habits, the systems, the plans.
You’re not confused about what to do.
You’re confused about why you don’t consistently do it.
And at a deeper level, it often feels like you’re not fully in control of yourself when it’s time to put in the work.
It’s almost like something inside you is stepping on the brakes the moment you try to press the gas.
So you try to fix it the way most people do.
You tell yourself you just need to be stricter.
You try the Pomodoro technique. You try to implement all the right routines and habits. You try productivity apps. You buy yet another planner even though you bought 3 planners last year and NEVER used any of them. You spend time watching hours and hours of productivity videos. You read and re-read books like Atomic Habits. You try to create the PERFECT schedule for yourself.
You push harder on yourself.
You promise that this week will be different.
You treat inconsistency like a discipline problem and self-sabotage like something you can bully yourself out of.
But if more pressure, more self-criticism, and more “I’ll just power through” actually worked, you wouldn’t be here reading this.
And the reason why these high-pressure methods don’t work is because they don’t address the REAL problem.
But What Is the Real Problem?
The real problem is that there are unconscious parts of you that are preventing you from moving forward. This is called self-sabotage.
These parts of you reside in the Shadow, which is home to all of the repressed aspects of yourself.
And until those parts are seen, understood, and integrated, every new productivity system or routine you try will eventually crumble under the same old patterns that currently hold you back.
And you’ll notice, if you really examine your self-sabotage patterns, they’re not random.
You procrastinate when you’re somewhat uncertain about the process when you’re working on a project.
You suddenly feel sleepy and like you want to take a nap when it’s time to work on your big goals.
You avoid engaging in the creative projects you want to finish because “there are other priorities.”
Those aren’t the habits of a lazy person.
In fact, your supposed “laziness” is ONLY a symptom of this problem. It’s NEVER a root cause.
They’re the deeply ingrained patterns that arise from the Shadow’s attempts to protect you or serve you in some way.
For example, maybe success has led to burnout in the past. So, perhaps a part of yourself sabotages your success to prevent you from re-experiencing burnout.
Or maybe being successful would lead one of your family members to feel jealous. And an unconscious element of yourself sabotages your success to preserve your relationship with that family member.
Or maybe part of you holds yourself back from giving your full effort. And that’s because if you gave your full effort and failed anyway, you would feel like it would mean something about your capabilities.
But if you only give partial effort and fail, you can attribute the failure to lack of effort and not as a reflection of your capabilities.
And you can always tell yourself, “If I would have given my full effort, I would have succeeded. I only failed because I didn’t give my full effort.”
So when patterns like this are happening in the unconscious, you consciously try to push forward with your goals. But another unconscious part of you does everything in its power to stop you from pursuing or achieving those goals.
And it’s not because this part of you is just trying to make you miserable or kill your motivation just for the sake of it. It’s actually because this part of you is raising an objection to your goal, for some reason or another.
And in order to get this part of yourself to get out of your way, you must discover why it’s raising this objection and resolve the objection in a substantive way.
So, until you become conscious of that part and understand how it’s trying to serve you, you’ll keep sabotaging yourself no matter how many routines you try.
The Antidote to Self-Sabotage Is Always Inside You…
This is where Shadow Work stops being just an abstract concept and becomes something VERY practical.
Shadow Work, done properly, isn’t just journaling about your feelings or having one big emotional release and then hoping life changes by itself.
It’s a way of intentionally bringing these hidden parts into the light, hearing what they actually need, and integrating them so they’re no longer fighting your plans.
Instead of fighting with yourself to sit down and work every single day, once you actually start understanding how these Shadow parts are trying to use self-sabotage to serve and/or protect you AND you start understanding what their needs, wants, and boundaries are, you won’t have to fight with yourself anymore!
And instead of forcing yourself to follow a new routine or trying to be super disciplined and go “monk mode” with your goals, you’ll want to first make sure these parts are actually on board with the life you’re trying to build.
When that happens, productivity feels completely different.
You don’t wake up every day trying to fight yourself and overpower your resistances through brute force of will.
You wake up feeling more content and ready to get into flow state with your work.
That’s the shift this deep work creates! It helps you go from fighting yourself every day to squeeze productivity out of yourself under duress… to having your inner world and outer actions finally moving in the same direction.
If any of these patterns are familiar to you and you often end up in a fight with yourself to work toward your goals, click the button below to schedule a FREE discovery call with Emerald to see if this process is a good fit for you…

Imagine waking up and not having to fight with yourself to start.
No struggling.
No inner turmoil.
Just a quiet sense of “I know what I’m doing today” and the ability to follow through.
Your days stop swinging between “hyper-productive” and “zero motivation.”
You start trusting yourself to actually do the things you said you would do.
Deadlines feel less like a threat and more like simple agreements you keep with yourself.
But you’re still human, of course.
You still get tired.
Life still happens.
But your default is no longer work avoidance and inner turmoil.
The default is, “I can show up, even if I’m not at 100%.”
Work starts to feel less like a fight with yourself and more like an expression of who you really are.
You feel more aligned and in flow when you work.
You notice that you can stay focused longer without shutting down or running away.
This is the kind of shift we work on inside the Shadow Work coaching process.
You’re not dropped into a course and left alone to figure it out. You’re supported in bringing your real patterns, your real resistance, and your real life into the work.
We work with what’s actually coming up for you.
The moments you checked out.
The idea you slowed down on.
The project you can’t seem to finish.
You also get access to a structured curriculum that gives you the foundations and practices behind this work, so you’re not guessing or piecing things together from random content.
The goal isn’t to turn you into a productivity robot.
The goal is to help you build a way of working that your whole system can actually support, so consistency stops feeling like a fight and starts feeling like your new baseline.
And you’re not the only one who’s been stuck in these patterns.
I’ve worked with people who had followed every productivity framework, built beautiful routines, and still found themselves staring at the same unfinished projects week after week.
What changed things for them wasn’t a new app or a stricter plan.
It was finally seeing the part of them that was trying to protect them by holding them back.
For some, that meant recognizing that they avoid the visibility that comes with success by sabotaging their success.
For others, putting in their full effort meant no longer having the “I could have done more” excuse to fall back on.
Once those patterns were brought into the light and worked with directly, their behavior started to shift.
They began completing the work they’d been putting off for months.
Finishing projects that they never completed.
Showing up for their work without needing a surge of motivation to push them there.
And if you check out the testimonials I receive… they don’t sound like people bragging about how much they can grind.
They sound like people who finally feel like they’re on their own side.
It’s people who recognize themselves in the mirror of their actions, not just their intentions.
This work is for you if you’re ready to actually apply deep self-knowledge and self-compassion to how you live and work, not just think about it.
If you’re tired of swinging between “all in” and “shut down.”
If you want your productivity to feel stable, grounded, and aligned with who you truly are.
It’s a fit if you’re willing to look at the parts of you that resist, protect, and stall instead of endlessly trying to overpower them by throwing more willpower at the situation.
If you want support, reflection, and structure while you do that, rather than trying to figure it all out alone.
This is not for you if you’re looking for a quick hack, a script to “trick your brain,” or a way to shame yourself into performing better.
It’s not for you if you refuse to take responsibility for your inner world, or if you only want surface-level tips without doing any deeper work.
You don’t need to be perfect, fully healed, or “ready” in some abstract sense.
You just need to be honest that the old way of pushing yourself isn’t working anymore, and be open to the idea that there’s another way to relate to your own productivity.
If you’re ready to finally develop consistent frictionless productivity that comes about effortlessly and holistically, click the button below to schedule your free discovery call…
